2 held at airport for murder links
Immigration police arrested two people from the capital's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Thursday night and early yesterday, who were accused in two separate murder cases in Brahmanbaria.
Immigration police said they arrested Babul Mia alias Billal, an accused of killing his father, from the airport on Thursday.
Billal, a Bangladeshi expatriate in Dubai, stabbed his father to death following an altercation over a land dispute in Bancharampur upazila on November 20, police said.
Meanwhile, immigration police yesterday arrested Moloy Mia from the airport on charge of killing his uncle over a dispute of land boundary Sarail Upazila on October 29.
The arrestees were handed over to Bancharampur and Sarail Police Stations respectively.
