Man killed as train runs him over
An unidentified man died after a train ran him over in Sirajganj yesterday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known as the victim's family took the body after the accident occurred.
The train, Maitree Express, heading for Dhaka from Kolkata, ran over the victim while he was crossing the rail track at Soydabad around 4:00pm, leaving him spot dead, said officials of Railway Police (GRP).
A case has been filed in this connection.
