Robber arrested with arms, ammo, Yaba
Rapid Action Battalion-7 arrested an alleged robber and seized two revolvers, 12 bullets and 300 Yaba tablets from his possession after chasing him down on a CNG-run three-wheeler on Paikpara road in Chittagong's Patiya upazila yesterday.
The arrestee, Afsar uddin, 28, of the district's Chandanaish upazila, and three others used to rob people and smuggle Yaba. The others fled the vehicle, said Rab-7.
The arrestee was handed over to Patiya Police Station and a case was lodged in this regard.
