Mob kills robber in Gazipur
An unidentified robber was killed and seven others were injured in a mob beating in Gazipur sadar upazila early yesterday.
The injured were admitted to the sadar hospital.
Mistar Ali, sub-inspector at Pubail police camp in Joydevpur, said the robbers entered the house of Prabin Mandol at Demrapara around 1:30am and looted valuables after tying all the inmates up by ropes. Hearing scream for help of the inmates, locals rushed in and caught eight of the robbers and beat them up, leaving them injured. The unidentified robber died on the way to the hospital.
