Kuet convocation held
The second convocation of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Kuet) was held yesterday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid presided over the ceremony. He urged the graduates to be more careful and active in acquiring information technology based knowledge to face the challenges of the 21st century.
A total of 2,555 graduates and postgraduates were awarded certificates.
Prof Muhammad Alamgir, Kuet vice-chancellor, delivered the welcome speech while eminent scientist Jamal Nazrul Islam spoke as the convocation speaker.
