Eight houses gutted in Ctg
Eight houses were gutted in separate fire incidents in Chittagong yesterday morning.
Agrabad fire service sources said the fire, originated from a stove of kitchen in a house at around 8:00am, gutted three tin-shed houses in Chittagong city's Maijpara area.
The fire service officials estimated the loss around Tk 5 lakh.
Another fire, originated from an electric short circuit, burnt five earthen houses at Purba Gujara in Raojan upazila around 6:15am.
Valuables worth Tk 3 lakh were damaged in the fire, sources said.
