Two killed in Ctg road crashes
Two people were killed and three others injured in separate road accidents in Chittagong yesterday.
In an incident, Md Jasim, 40, was killed and three others were injured as a jeep and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on on Chittagong-Rangamati highway in Islampur area under Rangunia upazila of Chittagong around 11:00am, police said.
The injured were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
In another incident, an unidentified woman was killed as a vehicle hit on Akmal Ali Road under Bandar Police Station around 11:00am. She died at the CMCH.
