HC summons Rajuk chief for unauthorised construction
The High Court yesterday summoned Rajuk Chairman Nurul Huda and two others before it on January 8 on charge of not executing its order that asked them to stop unauthorised construction of a structure in the capital's Mohammadpur.
The two others summoned are Rajuk's authorised officer Aminur Rahman and Theme Engineers Limited's Managing Director Mostafizur Rahman.
In response to a contempt of court petition, a HC bench also issued a rule upon the trio to explain why contempt of court proceedings should not be brought against them for not complying with its order.
