Death anniversary
Today is the 41st death anniversary of Shaheed prof Giasuddin Ahmed.
During the Liberation War, the collaborators of Pakistani occupation forces picked prof Giasuddin of history department of Dhaka University, from his DU residence and killed him with other intellectuals, said a press release.
A milad mahfil will be held after Asr prayers tomorrow at his youngest sister Prof Sajeda Banu's Dhaka residence.
His friends, relatives and well-wishers are requested to attend the programme.
