Man 'kills' wife in Dinajpur
A woman was allegedly hacked to death by her husband in the presence of their two children at Parbatipur upazila in Dinajpur yesterday.
The deceased was Rabeya Basuri, 30, of Dakkhinpara village under Parbatipur municipality.
Police detained her husband Delwar Hossain, 38, from the spot of murder.
On returning home yesterday noon, Delwar started beating Rabeya over a row in front of their two sons, said Parbatipur police, quoting local witnesses.
At one stage, he hacked her with a crowbar, leaving her spot dead, police added.
