Elephant kills woman in Ctg
A woman was killed when a wild elephant attacked her in Hadiyapara of Satkania upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.
The deceased is Rubi Akter, 28, of Hadiyapara.
Kamal Abbas, sub-inspector of Satkania Police Station, said the incident occurred when Rubi went to her land around 6:15am for growing some crops and all of a sudden an elephant appeared from a nearby jungle and squeezed her with its trunk.
