Man dies in Manikganj road crash
A man was killed and his co-rider injured as a bus hit their motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Baniajuri in Ghior upazila of Manikganj yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Alam Mia, 35, of Putikhali area in Jessore.
Injured Jakir Hossain, 34, of the area, was taken to Monno General Hospital at Gilondo in Manikganj.
Police said the accident occurred when the Savar-bound bus hit the motorcyclists from behind in the area around 11:00am, leaving Alam dead on the spot.
