BTSP exchanges views with Khulna chamber

Bangladesh Trade Support Programme (BTSP), funded by European Union, organised a 'visibility campaign' yesterday at the conference room of Khulna Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). KCCI President Shaharuzzaman Martuza presided over the programme which turned into a view exchange meeting, also participated by all directors of KCCI, among others. It was addressed by EU team leader David Flenning, BSTP Co-ordinator Paulo Noris, Commerce Ministry Joint Secretary Amitavo Chakravarty, Deputy Secretary Ziauddin Ahmed and BSTP Programme Officer Md. Moniruzzaman. The ongoing Tk 65 crore 'visibility campaign' provides BTSP with an opportunity to share with people of Bangladesh the successes and achievements of the programme, encourage and build mutually beneficial relationships and give insight into the continuing future support to economic development of the country from EU, said team leader David Flenning. It is designed to assist Bangladesh pursue a trade and economic reform agenda.
