32 held while crossing border
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) arrested 32 people including women and children from Gazipur border in Satkhira Sadar upazila and Kulia border in Debhata upazila while they were trying to go to India illegally.
Of them 18 are males, 6 women and 8 are children, BDR sources said.
Of them, 15 were arrested from Gazipur and 17 from Kulia border.
They are from Satkhira, Bagerhat, Jessore and Pirojpur districts, BDR said. They were handed over to Sadar and Debhata police stations.
