3,000 bottles of phensidyl seized, drug peddler shot by BDR
About 3,000 bottles of phensidyl was recovered from a truck and a drug peddler was injured as Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) fired gunshots at him at Joynagar village in Phulbari upazila yesterday, BDR said.
The injured drug peddler is Md Badal Shikdar, 22, of Chhoto Mousha village in Sakhipur upazila, Tangail.
BDR also seized the truck from the spot and arrested its driver Md Forhad Hossain of the same village.
Later, the injured was rushed to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital for treatment.
