Firearm, heroin seized in 4 dists
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab), in separate raids in four districts yesterday seized a firearm, bullet, Indian cosmetics, sari, heroin and arrested a drug peddler.
RAB seized the gun and bullet from Bindabonpur in Natore district. They seized 200-gram heroin from Uchhapara village and arrested drug trader Ziaul Karim Ripon of Telebhata village in Rangpur.
At Harandra Bazar in Panchbibi upazila in Joypurhat, Rab seized cosmetics worth about Tk 1,02,500 . They seized 101 pieces of Indian sari at Bhaduria in Dinajpur .
