Leadership bankruptcy

I would like to thank Brig. Gen. Shahidul Alam Khan for his excellent contribution, Strategically Speaking, (DS 20th Sep) to the present scenario of the political leaderships prevailing in the country... In the political rally they were not used to passing on the baton to the next deserving runner but to keep it as a family souvenir as of right. Do they win the race? Your politicians would not look over their shoulders what had been happening , as they were busy picking up… without any concept of accountability/ transparency for their actions. The political tsunami, as described, in the wake of 11th January 07 is a wakening call to the nation and the aftermath consequences are attributable to their own follies. The country needs the infusion of new blood and a strong, visionary leader who would come from the refined blood of the new generation, but there is a price to pay for it now. Japan is not an ideal example but to experience genuine democracy, come to the UK. Our politicians are accountable, transparent to the people, the voters.
