The following is the leading headline of DS Internet Edition of September 27, 2007: "Dhaka improves on its graft image. Climbs up to 7th position from bottom on TI's corruption index." What a shame for the country and its citizens!!! We call it an improvement in our graft image. That is sad. What's the difference between being the worst and being seventh from the bottom? Bangladesh is even worse than Zimbabwe. Why can we not be in the ranks of New Zealand, Finland & Denmark?
