Without patriots ?
It is demoralising to see that the same people of the same political parties are organising themselves in the name of so-called reforms and are trying to reappear in the political scene of Bangladesh.
But how can we trust them? Are they not the people who directly or indirectly participated and supported the previous corrupt governments with two Begums in power in alternate succession? Isn't it like putting the same "vinegar" in a new bottle? And instead of getting better in quality it becomes rotten.
How do we know that they will not turn to the same business of distributing public money in our parliament house, a Sangshad Bhaban known worldwide for its architecture by Louis H. Kahn and so wrongly used as an arena of the fighting gladiators.
Where are the real men? What are they waiting for? This is the unique occasion that we have after so many years of mismanagement to rise and come forward and work for the country selflessly. Are we to believe that we have no such honest and decent patriots?
