2 arms peddlers held in Kushtia

Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) personnel arrested two arms peddlers and recovered two firearms and ammunition from their possession at Jamlpur under Daulatpur upazila of the district on Friday night. The arrestees are Sahjahan Ali, 23 and Riaz Uddin 22 of the village. Acting on a tip-off, BDR men of Mirpur sector, Kushtia, raided the house of Hafizuddin at the bordering village at around 11:00pm and arrested the two with one pistol, one shutter gun and seven bullets. BDR took them to Mirpur sector office for quizzing.
