Poppy field destroyed in C'nawabganj

Our Correspondent, C'nawabganj:

Law enforcers destroyed a poppy field at Pardilalpur village under Shibganj upazila of the district yesterday. They also arrested five people for cultivating poppy on six bighas of land at the village. The arrestees are Jamirul, 25, Rafiqul, 37, Nasim, 26,Ilias, 65, and Russel Babu, 18. A case was filed with Shibaganj Police Station in this connection.
