Villagers clash in Pabna: 10 injured

At least 10 people were injured, four of them critically, in a clash between two groups of villagers at Bara Matiabar under Pabna Sadar upazila yesterday. Police and locals said the two groups--one led by Liton and the other by Anwar--locked in a clash as a sequel to previous enmity over a cricket game at the village. Both sides used sharp weapons and firearms during the clash that continued for half an hour. The injured were admitted to Pabna General Hospital. Two of them were later shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated.
