Constable commits suicide, or killed?

Bullet-hit body of a police constable was found at the quarter of the commanding officer (CO) of Armed Police Battalion (APBN) in the city yesterday. The deceased, Tarikul Islam, 30, was posted as a security guard at the APBN commanding officer's quarter on Raja Bahadur Road in the city. After Tarikul's bullet-hit body was found at the quarter at about 2:00pm yesterday, it was brought to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead, said Hayatul Islam, assistant commissioner of Barisal Metropo-litan Police. He said Tarikul committed suicide by firing from his Chinese rifle on the chest. APBN Commanding Officer Md Abdur Rahim was not available for his comment.
