<i>Death under steamroller</i>

An employee of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) met tragic death as he fell from a steamroller while on duty for renovation work under Khulna City Corporation on Friday night. The victim, Abdul Hai, 45, a resident of Pabla under Daulatpur in Khulna city, worked as a helper of steamroller under KCC. While driving a steamroller used for renovation work of a road near Dakbunglow under the supervision of KCC, Abdul Hai slipped off from the moving steamroller at around 8:30pm when it was dark around in absence of power supply due to load shedding, eyewitnesses said. Crushed under wheels of the steamroller, he died on the spot.
