Two killed in land disputes
Two persons were killed and 35 injured in two incidents of clashes in Mohongonj and Khaliajuri upazila yesterday, police said. Mahbubul Haque,35, was killed and 20 hurt at Kuchirgoan village under Mohongonj in a land dispute with people of Badiarchor. Khalilur Rahman,50, was killed and 15 others injured as villagers of Rasulpur and Jogannathpur of Khaliajuri upazila clashed over a khas land.
