Nor'wester in Netrakona

Nor'wester lashed about 20 villages of Khaliajuri upazila Sunday night damaging houses, boro paddy and uprooting trees. The worst affected villages are Nazirpur, Mujibnagor, Laxmipur, Satgaon, Muradpur, Kutubpur, Gochigai, Royel, Amatipara and Jugipara. The storm also damaged Khaliajuri Masjid market and Krishnapur Union Parishad Bhaban. During the 30-minute storm at least 25 people were injured. Seriously injured Raham Ali, Sabuj Mia of village Najirpur, Nurul Islam and Fatema Begum of village Kutubpur were rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
