2 hundi traders arrested in Noakhali

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police arrested two hundi traders in Noakhali's Chatkhil early yesterday

Shahadat Hossain, 23, and Balai Chandra Das, 26, used sources in the middle east to bring remittances into the country through hundi channel.

They laundered about Tk 50 crore through bKash in the last three years, a CID press release said.

A case has been filed against them with Paltan Police Station of Dhaka Metropolitan Police under the Special Powers Act and Digital Security Act.
