4 arrested for murder of 13-yr-old boy in Cox’s Bazar

Rab officials have arrested four people for the murder of a 13-year-old boy in Ramu of Cox's Bazar.

The arrestees are Nurul Islam, 20, Md Arif Hossain, 36, Md Hossain, 31, and Abu Hena Hanif, 30. Nurul and Arif were directly involved in the murder of Md Owayez, Rab-15 Assistant Director Md Billal Hossain said.

Jahangir Alam, the victim's father, filed a case with Ramu Police Station accusing some unidentified criminals on February 28 and the four were arrested that night, said the Rab official.

On February 26 police had recovered an unidentified body next to a road in Khuniapalong and later identified it as that of Owayez.
