Lana Del Rey is an American songwriter and singer. Del Rey started writing at the age of 18 and signed her first recording contract when she was 22 years old. Her music journey draws influence from the masters of each genre, ranging from Elvis Presley to Nirvana and Eminem. In her musical journey Rey won many prestigious awards- the Q Award for "Best New Thing", "International Pop Female Solo Artist", and EMA for "Best Alternative Act".
