Star Diary

star diary A HEARTLESS  EMPLOYER  Recently, the news of Aduri, a young house maid, who was mercilessly beaten and left for dead near a dustbin by her employers made headlines. Fortunately, the child was rescued by some people with actual feelings who rushed to the hospital with the help of the police. Aduri is still recovering from her injuries at the hospital. The details of the torture that she bore left an undeniable mark on our conscience. How can a person be so ruthless? Even the woman's young daughters joined their mother in this savagery. Some people take advantage of the vulnerability of poor children and trick them with promises of good payment and timely meals to long hours of servitude. It's high time that we speak up against such ruthlessness so that no other Aduri has to face such torture in the hands of cruel employers. I doubt that a single eye was dry on hearing dialogues like 'Have you MEET. . . ', 'Please, seated,' and 'stupid' pronounced as 'topad.' After Meghla, the character played by Borsha rotated a complete 360 degrees, exclaiming her surprise with a 'wow', the entire bed fell apart with her weight and the hall erupted with fresh laughter. The epic scenes literally brought me and my friends to our knees. The cars and villains kept flying without any regard to the law of gravitation. I seriously didn't get why Ananto's ripped heart had his own picture rather than that of Meghla's who he supposedly loved. Even after experiencing a bomb blast and gun shot in the heart, our beloved Jalil bhai still managed to survive. His heart cells regenerated instantly by God's grace and thanks to the prayers of the people! This was seriously the funniest movie I've seen in my life! I won't criticise it much because I thoroughly enjoyed the film with my friends. Moumita Moazzem Maple Leaf International School , Dhaka
