Why I love romantic comedies

If you tell someone that you're a fan of the romance genre, the worst that can happen is that the person will take you for a hopeless romantic, which, to be honest, isn't even a bad thing. But, God forbid anyone ever finds out that you like romantic comedies.

What went wrong for the Xbox One?

The short answer to the title – the initial online only reveal at E3 2013, a lack of system sellers and the PlayStation 4. The Xbox One irrevocably lost this generation and, unlike the PlayStation 3 from the previous generation, ended up playing all the wrong cards. Both consoles had botched releases, insane price tags and no games to show for at launch but then how did the PS3 still recover? To understand the fate of Microsoft and the Xbox brand, the more appropriate question to ask is, how did the Xbox 360 win?

Editorial

One of the most common phrases you hear around this time of the year, especially if you're a person teetering on the edge of teenage and adulthood, is “Eid is no longer like it used to be.” Well, of course it isn't.

CryptoKitties

You're all familiar with Pokémon cards. They were all the rage back in the day. The card game itself was not considered as the actual hype. Rather it was the fun and joy of collecting those cards that used to please us the most. Now, here's the question. Not the salami you want but the one you deserve

Salami is a token of love. And ever since childhood, love has been synonymous to Pokémon. So why not just give that to the eager salami enthusiast? The best part about this is the amount of variety you have in your hand. Do you give them the overpowered Mewtwo card or the classic holo Pikachu card? There are so many options for you to think about. As for the person on the receiving end, they can trade that Pokémon card they got as salami with someone else and build his own deck. Your gift of Pokémon card will help them be the best like no one ever was. And we think that's beautiful.

Shopping for other people during Eid

I'm sure you all know how much we Bangladeshis enjoy shopping. The roads being full to the brim with clusters of people should be a good enough indicator of that fact. Not all of the things we buy are for ourselves, however. In fact, a significant portion of our shopping time is spent seeking out gifts for relatives and friends. This poses a unique set of struggles, some of which are highlighted below.
