Shakib gives Tigers first breakthrough
Bangladesh left-arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan brought the Tigers their first breakthrough in the opening over of the innings as he sent back Engalnd's Jason Joy for four in the first ODI of the three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Having played three straight dot balls in the over, Roy tried to up the ante by coming down the wicket but ended up skying the ball, courtesy of a leading edge.
Bangladesh skipper Tamim Iqbal settled underneath the ball and grabbed hold of a simple catch at mid-off.
Earlier, Bangladesh were bundled out for 209 after opting to bat first.
