Tigers lose three inside powerplay 

Bangladesh were pegged back early in their run chase losing three wickets at the end of the powerplay for 44 runs in pursuit of England's 326 in the second ODI of the three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Skipper Tamim Iqbal and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan were in the middle at 24 and 14 respectively at the end of the first 10 overs.

England's Sam Curran was the chief destroyer as he took all three wickets, scalping two in the very first over of the innings.

Liton Das was the first to go for a golden duck in the fourth delivery of the innings when he tried to drive loosely a full-length delivery outside off-stump. The right-handed batter failed to keep it down and managed to pick out Jason Roy at backward-point.

Number three Najmul Hossain Shanto didn't bother the scorers either as went back to the pavilion for a first-ball duck as well nicking one to the keeper. 

Curran managed an outswinger shaping away from the batter but Shanto's hard hands couldn't help but go for a poke while attempting to block.

The third wicket to go was Mushfiqur Rahim whose batting woes continued. He tried to punch a good-length delivery that held its line but the extra bounce meant the batter could only concede a faint edge that was confirmed by a DRS review.

Earlier, England posted 326 runs after being put into bat first.
