Aguero suffers ‘mini heart-arrhythmia’ on live stream
Argentina legend Sergo Aguero has adapted well to life after football, finding success with his live streams that see him talk football while playing video games on Twitch.
He has been hired as a commentator by various Argentinian outlets and even accompanied the national team at the World Cup in Qatar.
But his latest stream took an unexpected turn as the former Manchester City, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid striker gave his audience a stark reminder of why he was no longer playing at the top level.
While live streaming with one of Spain's biggest streamers, Ibai Llanos, Aguero paused and put his hand to his chest, prompting Llanos to enquire whether everything was alright.
"I think… I think… I just had a mini-arrhythmia," Aguero responded.
"Do you want us to go to the doctor?" questioned Llanos.
"No, no. Because I have a chip and the famous chip will detect it and send a signal," Aguero said, referring to the pacemaker that he was fitted with after suffering a heart arrhythmia on the pitch at the Camp Nou in 2021.
Fortunately, the situation passed without any further hiccups.
