NUMBERS 8642

It is the number of people who were killed in road accidents that occurred across Bangladesh in 2015. According to a report by Bangladesh Passengers' Welfare Association, at least 8642 people died while 21,855 people were injured last year in road crashes. Increasing number of unfit vehicles, overtaking, irresponsible driving, consuming drugs before driving, using headphones  while driving- are mostly responsible for these mishaps.
