FIGHT FATIGUE

I have been struggling with feeling fatigued or over-exhausted every now and then for last couple of months. I often resort to caffeine or spoonfuls of sugar without trying to find out the underlying reasons behind my condition. As I talked to my friends and family, some of them did not really care and others had put the blame on the weather and everyday work pressure. In the beginning I did not care much either, but as it started affecting my energy level and psychological well-being, I thought of seeking medical attention. Finally, last week the doctor figured out that my unhealthy sleeping and eating habits are responsible for my fatigue. Nowadays young people tend to go to bed late, getting inadequate sleep during the course of the night. We don't understand the detrimental effects can have on us. We all should have the practice of starting our day with some light exercises and a healthy breakfast. Also, don't oversleep. Sleeping more than an average of 8 hours will cause more fatigue and less vigour.

Raise your voice

As I was walking down the road in Gulshan, I discovered a group of children standing on the street and watching a game of cricket on a television displayed in a shop. All of them were in tattered clothes and seemed to be from the neighbourhood, which is probably why the guard did not think twice before hitting them with the stick that he had in his hand. I was so shocked at the brutal attitude. I am usually a non-confrontational person, but this action forced me to confront the man and ask him why he would hit them without any reason. The man replied that they were in the way of pedestrians and shoppers. As the crowd around us started getting bigger, the guard preferred keeping his mouth shut. People who pick on children half their size with such brutal attitude ought to be shamed in public.
