LET'S MAKE IT WORK

Last week I was coming out of my neighborhood and found one of my neighbors throw trash out of their vehicle. I have zero tolerance for littering drivers. So when I came back home, I decided to call him up and express my concern politely. As I called him and after a brief talk when I told him about the incident, he laughed it off. He asked me if I took the responsibility of city corporation or not. "I think we all should be part of the cleaning process," I replied. I have known these people for a long time and I know they are aware of the consequences of trashing. Like many other people, they simply don't care. Throwing away your trashes out of your cars is not only an irresponsible act, but also the person indirectly causes a road accident by littering on the road. The solution does not require a list of things.  Let's put a trash bag in our car- it's that simple.

GUILTY OF LOVING SPORTS

I am a girl who happens to be a sports fan. Last week we were invited at a friend's place where my male friends were talking about a recent game. My friend got very surprised and asked me whether I enjoy sports to get attention from men. I got very annoyed and replied, "No. I like it because I feel passionate about it. I love the suspense and the surprises every game brings along with it." Why can't I like sports regardless of my gender? I don't understand why I can't appreciate the thrill and feeling without being judged. There are lots of people who go to the stadium just to enjoy the sport even if they don't know much about the sports. We need to stop stereotyping female fans.
