Difficult-to-treat drug-resistant bacteria are spreading rapidly in Bangladesh’s intensive care units (ICUs), while stronger measures can sharply reduce infections, according to studies by the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b).
