The visa complications of five Pakistani players contracted by Usha Krira Chakra has seemingly been resolved after the Special Branch of Police today gave all-clear for their entry into Bangladesh.

A rejuvenated Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club got off to a flyer in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Hockey League with an emphatic 4-1 win over Ajax SC at the Maulana Bhasani Stadium yesterday.

The participation of Abahani, Mohammedan SC, Usha KC, Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club and all the other established clubs helped produce a healthy and competitive Club Cup after 45 months. Now those clubs are all lining up for another battle in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Hockey League.

The Sky Blues come from a goal down to score five and deny Usha a hattrick of club cup titles.
