It was proved yet again that early momentum helps Bangladesh as a decent opening stand on Monday prevented any batting mishaps for the Tigers in their Super 12 clash against the Netherlands, which they won by nine runs at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart to kick off their T20 World Cup campaign.

After a decent opening stand, Bangladesh lost three quick wickets to see themselves in a precarious situation in the third and final ODI against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club today. 

Bangladesh have lost the toss for the fifth time in five games on their tour to Zimbabwe. The Tigers, who lost the first ODI by five wickets, were asked to bat first by Zimbabwe captain Regis Chakabva in the second ODI in Harare on Tuesday.

Tamim Iqbal hit the winning runs to score his 53rd fifty and Bangladesh lived up to favourites tag with a convincing nine-wicket victory in the second ODI against the West Indies at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Wednesday and emphatically sealed the three-match series with a game in hand.

Najmul Hossain Shanto was followed by Mominul Haque, Liton Das and Mahmudul Hasan Joy in getting back to the pavilion in the third morning of the first Test against the West Indies at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday.
