A multiple-time National Film Award winner at home and a frequent recipient of honours in India, Jaya now returns to the big screen with her latest film, “OCD”, set for release on February 6.

Bangladeshi actor Jaya Ahsan has left a strong impression with the newly released trailer of the Kolkata psychological thriller “OCD”, hinting at another promising year for the actor after a successful run across both Dhaka and Kolkata cinemas last year.

Directed by Soukarya Ghosal, “OCD” is described as a psychological drama rooted in the impact of childhood trauma. The film explores how a single bitter experience can irreversibly shape a child’s future, with its emotional burden often carried for a lifetime.

Actress Jaya Ahsan, who has already made a significant mark on India’s OTT platforms, is now set to venture into Bangladeshi web series with her debut project, “Jimmi.”
