India’s Jammu and Kashmir High Court has given six weeks to the authorities to identify migrants from Bangladesh and Myanmar who are illegally staying in the federally-ruled territory.

Myanmar has denied that its armed forces raped Rohingya women and girls in a campaign of ethnic cleansing that forced some 750,000 Rohingyas of Rakhine to flee to Bangladesh since August 2017.

Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia should end pushbacks of boats with Rohingya and Bangladeshi migrants, Human Rights Watch says.
