Niamul Mukta wrote on his Facebook profile, “I did not write the screenplay of the film. The screenplay was written by Muhammad Tasnimul Hasan Taj. I do not know how this award was given to me.”

The Dhaka International Film Festival is returning for its 23rd edition, scheduled to run over nine days from January 11 to January 19 next year.

“Of course, I will support the people of my industry,” said Tisha, perhaps as a declaration of solidarity. “Only when we have each other’s backs will our film industry truly flourish”.
