The film follows Akash, a Bangladeshi expatriate living in Canada, who returns to Bangladesh with his eight-year-old daughter, Simin, after 12 years.

Chanchal Chowdhury has begun shooting for his latest Tollywood venture “Shekor”, directed by noted filmmaker Bratya Basu. The film went on floors recently, and Chanchal joined the shoot on Monday in Birbhum, Kolkata.
