Afghan main spy agency says it has killed the Taliban commander behind a deadly attack on an agency base, and vows to hunt down and kill all of those involved.

The Taliban launched a series of attacks on security checkpoints in four Afghan provinces early yesterday, killing 32 members of the security forces and pro-government militias, provincial officials said.
