AL's demand for mid-term polls reiterated

He said this while addressing a triennial council of Mohammadpur upazila Awami League (AL) on the Aminur Rahman Degrue College premises on Sunday.

Chaired by Mohammad Golam Rabbani, the council was addressed, among others, by district AL convener Md Altaf Hossain, former lawmaker advocate Biren Sikder, district AL joint convenor Abu Nasir Bablu, district AL leader Abdul Kayum Mian and central BCL vice president Ohidur Rahman Tipu.

A new Mohammadpur upazila AL committee was formed at the council where 179 councilors exercised their franchise. The new committee is being headed by Golam Rabbani and advocate Abdul Mannan as its president and general secretary.
