Duck plague in B'baria

The affected villages are Borahora, Choto Haran, Beel Kenduai, Khakchail, Sout Tarua, North Tarua, Khulapara, Bayek Jagadishpur, Araeshida, Purba Talshahar, Poshchim Thalshahar, Natai, Vatpara and Birasagar in the sadar upazila. At lease 200 ducks died there in the last one week, villagers said.

They said the attacked ducks run temperature and die within three days.

When contacted, veterinarians said they have no preventive vaccine or curative medicine for duck plague.
