Nor'wester lashes three Netrakona upazilas

The hailstorm damaged standing boro crops on about 500 acres of land.

According to the district administration, the 45- minute cyclonic storm caused widespread damage in the three upazilas.

The nor'wester which lashed with a velocity of 100 km per hour destroyed over a dozen educational institutions and uprooted hundreds of trees. Electricity and telephone connection was also snapped.
