New body of handloom board officers' assoc
S M Ehsanul Huq and AKM Abdur Rashid have been elected president and general secretary respectively of Bangladesh Handloom Board Officers Association for a two-year term (2004-2006).
Others office bearers are Hafiz uddin (Serior Vice-president), Md Abul Khair (Vice President), AM Mojharul Islam (Finance Secretary), Md Badruzzaman (Office Secretary), Md Matior Rahman (Welfare Secretary), Daulatuzzaman Khan (Cultural and Sports Secretary) and Tapan Kumar Dhar (Organising and Publicity Secretary).
The elected Executive Committee member are Dr MA Azim Jahangir, S Mostafa Kamal, Md Shafi Uddin Siddique, Shamsul Alam, AKM Shaha Alam, Dipon Kanti Das and Rafiqun Nabi, according to a press release. The election was held recently.
