Gano Forum's hunger strike to protest land grabbing

Leaders and activists of different political, socio-cultural and professional groups also took part p in the hunger strike During the two-hour programme from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Secretary of Rangpur Ayin Jibi Somiti Advocate Samsuzzaman, Secretary of the district Awami League Advocate Elias Ahmed, Gono Fourum President Anwar Hossen, freedom fighter Mozaffer Hossen Chad, and Chhatra Dhara leader Mozammel Hossen Mintu, and Gono Forum leader Abdul Kader addressed the gathering in front of the DC's office.

The speakers alleged that Moshiur Rahman Ranga MP had illegally occupied land of Shri Shri Anandomie Ashram Mondir at Adersa Para in Rangpur town and started construction of a multistoried commercial building there.

They urged the administration to stop the encroachment of the temple land.
